"The principle of Scarcity"

The principle of scarcity
This is a false principle
Love is limited and wealth is finite
Certainly you don't think that
You can have everyone get ahead
My God loves me and he loves you
But it's your love that I want
It's you I want to stand in front of
Give me your love and give it to no one else
Have no others before me
God has a lot of love, sure, but you only have so much
Just like money
Here let me limit yours so that I can have more
Just like love money has limits
This is what we have come to believe in this jealous world
A world of limits and things to limit
Things to have
And things to keep others from having
This is a clever ruse a deception
Put over on us by ourselves
We have been so jealous now we even keep our thoughts to ourselves
We call it "Intellectual property" a sort of oxymoron
Let's blame this on the devil he made us do this to each other
Bosh
The devil never had anything to do with love
And he learned long ago not to lend us any money
We cheated him so
Anyway it would be the devil who would want us all to be rich
So that we might completely bury ourselves
Enough of that
I just realized what I have argued myself into
God is playing this trick on us
Maybe he is behind this principle of scarcity
Does this cause us to search for him?
Bosh again, this causes us to doubt God
That is proof then of the power of
The false principle of scarcity

This is very much so related to my theory of philosophy entitled "The Puzzle and the Prism of Difficulty."

It is about our consumerist society which is filled with people who are blind to everything but their next toy.

Well, partially.  It is about a lot more than that, but that is good for a start.
