A less Dangerous Way

A Public Outcry

Countertops

Death is Visiting My Street

On the subject of Hearing, then Prophecy

The Principle of Scarcity

Impatience

Liquid Leash

Yesterday the Trifle

Obtuse

Send Me

The Countenance of Failure

The Confidence of a Cow

I see my Daughter

Early Flower Late Love

Stupor

"Death is visiting My street"

Death is visiting my street
A wary start is prudent

Death is screaming over the hill
I can see it coming

The cold nighttime past approaching
My thoughts yearn  The year just turned  (unsettled)
Still
Still more nighttime approaching
The valley sinks the river moans the mountains disappear

Where many souls still stir
Death visits slowly slow to inter
As it approaches the earth interferes pulls death down

The river moans carries death away

Death is visiting my street

Unfortunately it was very true that on my street in Maysville, Georgia in the space of about a year a great many people of all ages passed away. It started at the far end of the road and was coming my way.  I went out one night and looked up the street....It was as if I could hear him coming, talking to himself....death..death..death.
