"I see my daughter"

I see my daughter
Looking at me  Blazing briefly
From the eyes of other children
I don’t choose
The time or place
For her to look at me
My pretty child so trusting
The glance freezes me corrupts my feet
Hey, are you my daughter?
Do you love me?

I am not certain what it was that inspired this. Have you ever felt guilty about something?  Have you ever left anyone behind, or been involved in removing a life from this planet?

No?

You are the first innocent person that I have ever met!
