How do you know when you’re walking too fast?
You have no one to engage, harass
(Except your own familiar face, so rapid is the pace)

How do you know when you’re walking too slow?
You have time to engage in conversations with cows
Cows are very droll
Cows are not stupid
Cows are conservative
They know who to talk to
And who to ignore

They also have a very well –developed sense
Of who it is that endeavors
To insult them

This might be the only conversational tool
That is necessary after all
Who wants to be insulted
In the course of an otherwise pleasant day

If you’ve ever insulted a cow
That is mooed at them mocked them
Were you ignored?
See what I mean?

Try this
Approach a skeptical cow (they all are)
Say “Good day Sir” or “Good day Ma’am” whichever is the case
(By the way if you do not know the difference
You will soon find out
After you attempt a conversation with the Sir cow)

Anyway say “Good day, how’s the weather” or whatever
The cow will stare at you in mock surprise
Soon other cows will gather in wonder
Their gaze is fixed upon you
But because this is not normal human behavior
They take it you must not be acting in good faith
It takes a long time to gain the confidence of a cow
You must take the time to walk slowly
                                To become a familiar face
